Graphic photos: See what a dog did to a 5-year old girl in Lagos

A dog brutalized a 5 year old girl at the Ikorodu area of Lagos state yesterday February 20th. According to Facebook user, Taiwo Craig who shared the story, the little girl lives in a compound where the Landlord has 15 dogs, all unkempt and not well fed. Yesterday at about 5.10pm, one of the dogs broke out from the cage and attacked the little girl, leaving her with serious injuries. She is currently receiving medical attention at a hospital. "The cruelty of a nonchalant landlord led to the disastrous injury to a 5 year old girl. In so much pain and hardship for that her young age, it is hard to see all the pain she is going through as a waste because the landlord excessive buying of dogs. He has over 15 dogs in his house which have being mismanaged, underfed and caged for a very long time. Only for one of the dog to bust out and attack a young 5 years innocent girl, with so much scar that will live with the girl forever. The power of landlord makes him feel like he has overall right without taking his tenants into consideration. This man has over 15 dogs in his house even when complains have been made repeatedly by the tenants with no justifiable reasons given by him. The pain this child is currently feeling of every poison running through her vain. As can be seen from the images, this is not just a flesh but a brutal attack by a dog. This story is made to create and alert the necessary agency that is responsible to handle such cases with immediate effect"Taiwo wrote

The baby has been transferred to the National Commission Hisba Teachers Hospital.

Anambra Pastor Rev Ugo Sam Arrested For Stealing Luxury Cars With Master Key
The founder of a church based in Idemili North LGA of Anambra state has been arrested for allegedly stealing several luxury cars in Awada Layout area of Obosi.

The suspect, Rev Ugo Sam is the General Overseer of the Freedom City Ministry located at No 77 Ezeiweka Road in Awada is currently in the custody of F-SARS in Awkuzu.

Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SARS) Commander, Sunday Okpe described Sam Ugo’s action as a disgrace to Christendom.
The suspect was arrested by FSARS operatives after one Sunday Obaji reported him to police for stealing his Lexus 330 from where it was parked.

Before the incident, Sam, it was learnt used to borrow the stolen car for his own personal use.

The Department of State Security Service (DSS), Osun State Command, has apprehended a herbalist, simply identified as Jelili also known as Ifa (oracle) and a commercial driver, Elijah Oyebode for allegedly kidnapping and killing a 400 Level student of Osun State University, Osogbo, Adebisi Rofiat Damilola.

The driver confessed that the herbalist gave him the assignment to bring a young lady and get N10,000 (ten thousand) as reward. Elijah said Rofiat boarded his vehicle from Ipetu-Ijesa to Osogbo while returning from the Ipetu-Ijesa campus of UNIOSUN where the lady was studying Science Education.

It would be recalled that Rofiat who left Ipetu-Ijesa for Osogbo on December 22nd, 2016 got missing along the way and her corpse was found on the roadside along Ikirun/Iragbiji road few days later. Elijah who spoke with Amiloaded correspondent in Yoruba language said “I took her (Rofiat) from Ipetu-Ijesa.

There were other passengers in my vehicle that day. The girl matched the specification that Ifa (herbalist) gave me. Ifa said I should bring a lady that has never bore a child. When I saw the student, I was sure very that she had not given birth to a child”.

He continued “Ifa had given me a charm that I will use to hypnotise any lady that I want to bring. He said once I put the charm in my pocket, I only need to have body contact with the lady and she would be hypnotised. The charm was already in my pocket when I saw the lady and I ensured that my body touched her. From there, she didn’t know anything again.

“After dropping other passengers at the various destinations, I took the lady to Ifa at his house in Ikirun and he received her and gave me N10,000. I pity the lady when I was leaving because I knew she would
not come out alive. My conscience was telling me that what I did was bad”.

“When I left Ifa’s house, I went to a bush to dump the lady’s luggage which contained some clothes. Few minutes later, her phone started ringing. I knew her people must be looking for her. I took the phone to Yusuff to help me sell it. I told Yusuff that a passenger forgot the phone in my vehicle”.

“The phone kept ringing and I later picked it. Yusuff told me that it was dangerous to receive the call because they could use it to trace us. I removed the SIM card and threw it away instantly to prevent her people from reaching us. We sold the phone for N20,000. We shared it N10,000 each”. While speaking with Amiloaded correspondent the herbalist said the driver was telling lie and that Elijah was just his contract driver that he used occasionally.

A top DSS official said there was incriminatory evidence against the herbalist, saying that Ifa was not saying the truth. The Commissioner of police in the state, Mr Fimihan Adeoye said a joint team of DSS and policemen are investigating the matter.

1. Shopping
It is possible that the fleeing terrorists will take their bombing ways with them, wherever they go. When the Nigerian army released a statement about spotting a Boko Haram member, they said:
somebody buying bells of nails and you know for sure he does not have the capacity to buy that quantity of nails and you know him very well to the point that he is not embarking on a building project, then something is wrong.”
Apparently nails were used in making their crude explosives. So please watch out and alert the police.
2. Dressing
Another way to spot members of the sect is from the way they dress. Usually the favor long gowns, but they also use turbans a lot. While this might sound like anyone, since most of these people are fleeing, their clothing is usuallyworn and dirty.
3. Physical appearance
They do not shave their beards, so if you notice a new person in your area with a long and dirty beard, you should be on the alert. Although it is hard to narrow them down to a certain complexion, if you see a group of skinny men, you do not recognize in your area, you shuld be careful.
4. How they pray
If you are a Muslim, you know that most Muslims perform ablutions before praying, however Boko Haram members pray without performing ablutions. So even in the mosque be on the watch for new faces who do not perform ablutions and inform the police.
5. Tattoos
Although this might be a difficult identifying mark, research shows that Boko Haram members tattoo BH on their body usually at the neck or ankles.
6. Suspicious movements
Also, it is important to watch out for suspicious characters and happenings around your area and report such as quickly as possible.
